Issue: Admins can't submit a back end credit card payment

I upgraded a site to 6.5.2 to fix front end donations on core contribution forms, but we are seeing now that we can't enter credit card donations in the back end. The credit card fields never show up in the grey box:

The problem may be with Stripe 6.5 changes, or with changes in MJWShared, I'm not sure. I reverted a site to current releases Stripe 6.4.2 and MJWShared 0.8.1 and the above two functions work (although core contribution forms are spotty).
