## Proposed standard event calendar for CiviCRM events
1. 1 CiviCon per year, rotating between NA, UK/EU, AU/Asia
2. Create as many local CiviCamps as possible
### Considerations
1. CiviCon's are up to 2 day events focused primarily on developers and sophisticated users. Should include training and sprint.
2. CiviCon's offer a forum for key community stakeholders (contributors, developers, partners, etc.) to come together to showcase latest developments, address issues, as well as participate in overall project planning and direction.
2. CiviCamps are 1 day, low cost, low barrier to entry workshops focused on driving awareness and training for end user organizations.
3. CiviCamps can include (before or after main event) more advanced user training as well as a sprint. |
