## CiviCamp in Antwerp
Erik Hommel agreed to explore this.
Dev Training may be easier to run next to Antwerp, where there is likely to be people who can help to run.

## CiviCamp in Manchester
Preceeded by 2 day Admin Training
Suggested 24th - 25th April for training, then Friday 26th April for CiviCamp
Olly to do the training?
Also considering having a particular focus for the camp, e.g. fundraising so that there’s a track just for related sessions (but still the normal range of topics/sessions too).
Maybe a different name for the event based around the focus?

The Governance Summit falls in the same week that is typically the UK sprint (which is not going to run in 2019) so it is likely to fit with people’s schedules and we can be more certain of attendance.
We did discuss bringing it earlier in the year but that’s a bigger gamble in terms of people’s availability and should still be enough time for the new structure to bed in.
Feedback welcome around the dates and structure.

Seems quite a quick turnaround for another CiviCamp in Manchester, just wondering on take-up so soon after October. Checked dates for St Thomas Centre and the dates are currently free though. (Bari)

After some discussion, we've agreed the main event will be a **Community Summit** rather than Governance Summit (or CiviCon, which was also discussed).
Using some of the content from the earlier discussions about events:
The governance summit was a one off effort to pull key stakeholders together. We expect it will change.
We’d like these to be less “flashy”, and more “meaty”, meaning the quality of the content is the most important thing, not the visibility. A CiviCon w/ 50 people that presents good content and provides a catalyst for action is better than a highly promoted event that is shallow.
We’d like to include a 2 day “community summit” where invested stakeholders (partners, members and contributors) come together for one day to discuss initiatives to improve the project.
