Drupal8: go-live with logins, blog, CiviCRM pages

As part of the revamp, we are now at the stage where we can flip over logins to the new website.

• /user will point to d8
• CiviCRM forms (in case there are forms with user account registrations)
• Blog posts and comments (because tied in with user accounts).

It will also mean that we will be able to switch off the blog/user sync, which has had some issues.

Doing the switch now will certainly cause some confusion and some feature regressions, but it will help reduce complexity of the dual-sites and help the larger community benefit from Drupal8 (new editor interface for blog posts and make translation easier).
