CiviCRM blog editing experience for authors is simply authful
Posting this issue as I had a whinge in Mattermost after spending an hour wrestling with the Blog on civicrm.org to get the formatting simple enough that Drupal would post something passable.
See annotated screenshot below and number references.
1 - Title field is too short to see the entire title. Text is small and hard to read.
2 - The drop-down options for the styles are in dire need of improvement. All caps headings is not ideal, "shouting" and aggressive.
3 - Image size restrictions are somewhat limiting. Why set a maximum size? Where the image is displayed on the page? It's really not clear.
4 - Blog tags. Tags are difficult to select, browse and there is no guidance or description as to when each should be applied.
5 - File attachments. This is easier to use to embed an image than the image field (3) and defaults to display on the page. But otherwise, I am not really sure why this field is required at all - this is a Blog not a method of sharing files.
6 - WYSI experience is really painful. Have to switch to the plain text editor to fix HTML. tag is not allowed. Available styles are not great.
