This extension is affected by https://civicrm.org/blog/eileen/prepare-civicrm-531-now-changes-could-affect-customisations

There is at least some direct manipulation of input tag in templates/CRM/Report/Form/Actions-civiexportexcel.tpl that should work for button as well.
