Update text on drupal.org/project/civicrm to better represent CiviCRM
We don't make tarballs or update git on Drupal.org - there are various reasons behind this, but it's the current situation and not something we're clamouring to alter.
To seasoned Drupallers checking out something they think is available as a Drupal module, this comes across as though CiviCRM is an abandoned project - even with the current page text saying "downloads are not here".
Some things that might be worth considering:
- Formatting on project page is limited, and you get a single image at top right. See drupal.org project formatting docs
- Project git history is inactive on Drupal.org, Drupal folk look to git to show project activity. (Commit log says "last commit 8 years ago".)
- Drupal.org project page shows no issues etc, which is a "red flag" when looking at Drupal modules.
- Current page is fairly text heavy, which might reduce the changes of people catching the "download from civicrm.org" links.

Another project which has moved off Drupal.org is https://www.drupal.org/project/drush - they've gone for a lightweight project page.
I think we should keep the presence there, but I think it could give a better impression. Hoping that I can assist in that by submitting this issue!
