We also want to reuse some questions from prior surveys if appropriate in order to compare answers over time.
The intent is to do two surveys. First will be a single question survey oriented toward people who are not very engaged, especially end user organizations: "There is enough money to entirely rework one page in CiviCRM. Which page would you most like to see improved?" Then there would be a medium length survey as well, and people completing the first would have option of doing second too.
Joe would like access to:
a) see old results of Community Survey activities
b) see question custom fields and option values where they exist as answers
c) ability to target 1) less engaged contacts for 1 question survey and 2) more engaged contacts for medium length survey
d) to send emails out to above groups
e) to export responses to csv for analysis in Excel.
Josh needs to authorize this access so Mathieu will know what to do.
Joe is comfortable with alternatives involving other people currently permission in CiviCRM to do tasks above but they would need to agree to do the work.joshjosh@civicrm.orgjoshjosh@civicrm.orghttps://lab.civicrm.org/marketing/civicrm-website/-/issues/138Group page for the Documentation WG2024-03-07T15:52:05ZbgmGroup page for the Documentation WGOn this page:

### Original issue
The menu setup in this site is *way* confusing/convoluted.
Here are some ways in which this is confusing to *users*...
![menus](/uploads/18d36c4d3d801c184ec2bd4b29ccce26/menus.png)
And for site maintainers it's also confusing because there are so many menus...
![screenshot36](/uploads/2ed118f3fcd987e6b461f59d26efeea7/screenshot36.png)
I think we need to come up with *one* menu for the public-facing site pages and organize all content into that that menu.CiviCRM Website Upgradehttps://lab.civicrm.org/marketing/civicrm-website/-/issues/136Revise user registration process2024-03-07T15:47:30Zjoshjosh@civicrm.orgRevise user registration processA bit of a brain dump:

* Current user registration involves both user registration (https://civicrm.org/user/register) as well as "site registration" (https://civicrm.org/register-a-site).
* Why even register in the first place? The value of registration is unclear and not at all communicated.
* Stuart is working on a new reg page here: https://civicrm.org/new-register that could consolidate things.
* Not unrelated to https://lab.civicrm.org/infrastructure/ops/issues/755
* Site registration captures a lot of info that we don't use.
* How could this be facilitated in-app?
* What is the process beyond registration, i.e. what additional communications do registrants receive? What follow ups are triggered, etc.?
### Some comments from others brought into this issue
* Random thought: I was looking at civicrm.org/user/register (community profile creation, when not connected; for anti-spam issue). Shouldn't there be a checkbox to specify if: user, admin, developer? (to funnel into becoming a member or a partner), (to replace or complement the plain text-box for 'community role')
* also the headshot photo upload should be removed? it isn't used anymore, but still says: "Please upload a "headshot photo" - approximately 250 x 250 pixels if you want to be included in the rotating "Community Gallery" on the top of CiviCRM.org pages. Your information will not be displayed if you don't provide a photograph." .. and very very few people seem to upload a photo.https://lab.civicrm.org/marketing/civicrm-website/-/issues/304Add email opt in on Download CiviCRM page for onboarding sequence2024-03-07T15:34:40ZandyburnsAdd email opt in on Download CiviCRM page for onboarding sequenceCurrently, on https://civicrm.org/download, the "Join the CiviCRM community…" mailing list subscription options is missing the first commitment level of getting started with CiviCRM. The https://civicrm.org/civicrm/mailing/subscribe options are all well and good, but a simple onboarding sequence *that is entirely optional* could help people have more success. And this would allow for a followup down the line.

Proposal:
- Create on page form that captures email ("Want some tips as you get started with CiviCRM? We'll send you some free advice and resources")
Automation:
- Create a flow to be defined in another issue. The premise is that we can advise on common pointers, docs, feature most used civi components, SK + FB, and at the bottom of an email, if they need support direct them to the partner directory.
- Allow for a survey say 3-6 months down the line on status of their implementation. Again point to partner directory as fallback option.
The Civi dropoff rates from past data seem to be higher than necessary.Giving them a guiding hand along the way and a solution to solve their problems either thru DIY resources or partner support can't hurt.https://lab.civicrm.org/marketing/civicrm-website/-/issues/270D8 Case studies improvements2024-03-07T15:33:56ZnicolD8 Case studies improvementsResponding to [feedback](https://chat.civicrm.org/civicrm/pl/j74yct7zdbd19kypujaauggj3c), there's a few issues around case studies - they're still on D7, and the messaging from the home page suggests you can find a case study about MAF N...Responding to [feedback](https://chat.civicrm.org/civicrm/pl/j74yct7zdbd19kypujaauggj3c), there's a few issues around case studies - they're still on D7, and the messaging from the home page suggests you can find a case study about MAF Norge, but you can't. Tasks:

It seems a bit buried to register your site. It's available under "CiviCRM Resources" dashlet and "Support" nav. I can't recall if there is a prompt after installation. Obviously helping the Civi community is the benefit here, but tying to more benefits would make it more appealing. Looking for brainstorming here.https://lab.civicrm.org/marketing/civicrm-website/-/issues/300Add menu item for Become a Partner2024-03-07T15:16:27ZJoeMurrayAdd menu item for Become a Partner## Current status
