This project concerns the overall strategic marketing and branding for CiviCRM. It is intended to more clearly define CiviCRM to the market and to present CiviCRM in a way that reflects its community. We should endeavor to clarify and/or revise CiviCRM's branding prior to other initiatives.

Current intiatives

The following are a list of projects under way that could benefit from branding first and foremost:

  • CiviCRM website overhaul
  • Local sites

Additional efforts to undertake in conjunction with the website transition

  • Content optimization
  • Hardcopy materials
  • Social media strategy
  • Revise community newsletter
  • Spark promotion

The CiviCRM brand

  • how does our user base perceive CiviCRM?
  • how do new prospective users perceive CiviCRM?
  • what do we "promise" users?
  • what are words that describe the CiviCRM brand?
