Soft credits should be included in "Financial and In-Kind Contributions" custom summary field

In Mattermost @josh stated the intended behavior of the experts listing as follows:

...those that give more (in either money or effort)... rise to the top... if they chose to record their hours.

The value of contributions is currently at $20 per hour

The experts listing is a view which is sorted by "CiviCRM Custom: Summary Fields: Finanancial and In-Kind Contributions (12 months) (desc)"

Ok first of all, "Finanancial" isn't a word 😉

But more importantly, the method of calculating this summary field seems to be in disagreement with Josh's stated spec.

For example, my individual contact record shows this field with a value of $5,420.00. That seems correct based on my contribution history. But the expert's listing doesn't list me — it lists my company, Left Join Labs... at the very bottom ☹. So yes, this ticket is self-serving. I'll admit it. 😏 Left Join Labs appears at the bottom because the summary fields for Left Join Labs have "Finanancial..." equal to zero.

Overall seems like a bug to me.

But I'd also like to mention that a recent discussion on this topic was a bit heated. So... is it a bug? Or is the current behavior actually the desired behavior? Perhaps different people desire different behavior.
