Great, thanks @bgm. Let me talk to my client to see where they are and I'll get back to you.
I really appreciate your help, as always.
Installed and minimally tested, but already getting farther than we were before. Thank you!
The client will start going through it. Let me know what you need from us.
Please describe your problem or bug in detail.
On custom fields for Events, if you save the record, then leave, then come back in, the custom data doesn't show up in the UI but actually is in the database. Even worse, if you save that record again, the blank fields in the UI overwrite the data in the database. So if you go in to edit the event, and don't notice the blank custom fields, when you save, you will overwrite the custom data and not even know it.
I first noticed this on a client site in WP on 5.66.0, and have confirmed it on wpmaster and d7master on 5.68.alpha1. It doesn't appear to happen on contacts, but I didn't test any other entities.

Anything else you would like the reviewer to note.
@artfulrobot I owe @bgm more than one.
Thank you Mathieu. And Rich if you ever need some testing on WordPress just let me know,. Thank you both.
I think we should have something more like "Share" functionality that allows the user to share that content to any app or program on their device. When I choose "Share" on a piece of content in Facebook on my iPhone, I can share it to on my Facebook page, or someone else's, but I can also share it in Facebook messenger, or text messages, or email, or Google Chat, or Whatsapp, or Skype, or Instagram, or LinkedIn, or.....The point is that where I can share the content is decided by whatever networks I choose to be a part of by having the apps on my device, not just by Facebook. It would be nice if our content had the same functionality.
what's a yolo-merge?
I installed the branch you posted a month ago and we've been using it with no issue.
@bgm if you would like us to pitch in for a few hours of work, just let me know. I know I could get our client to do so to get this resolved.
Yes, I see that now. So what say ye?
My client seems to think that the contents from the event confirmation emails used to populate the notes / details field of the ICS file (so that if you included the online meeting credentials in the email text, they would also be in the calendar event). It makes sense to me but I can't attest to whether or not it was or wasn't in there at one point.
At any rate, they are interested in having it happen, and it certainly makes sense to me. Do you have a sense for what it would take to make that happen? If it's not too large an effort, can we pitch in towards the cause?
I'll have to test again - this was a long time ago. If I remember correctly, there were cities and towns it wasn't finding - really basic stuff. But both threads (here and in github) just kind of ended, with no resolution. So I was wondering if we have just kept using Google and caching it anyway, or if there was another development.
I'll try to reinstall OSM and do some tests when I get a chance and let you know.
How was this ever resolved? When I read this or the original issue on github, it seems like nothing was ever decided, and it doesn't seem like our functionality in Civi has changed.
I have had several clients ask if we could make a given contribution page require recurring giving. Are you open to adding that functionality to this extension BGM? If so, would you be open to taking paid work to do it, and if that's no, would you be open to someone like Deepak S. writing a patch?
@elizoliva Want to split the cost? I could get my client to contribute to this. @mattwire you good with that? Let's get this done!
Seems to be working now. Apologies, I should have come back and closed this.
@mattwire While I know what those words mean, I don't know what that means in terms of its code implications. I see you added "needs funding." How long do you estimate to troubleshoot and fix? And would you be interested and when could you do it?
It's a Drupal 7 install, Civi 5.36.1, the most recent stable of both Payment Shared and Authorize extensions, and no custom code involved.
Hey can you give me any hint about what this message means so I know where to look in the data?
