Maybe this is just me being thick and inexperienced but I think a little more of an explanation on how to configure amp would be beneficial.
To be more specific, I'm uncertain on which db type I should be leaning towards, I went for the 'mysql_dsn' which then asks for the dsn to which I assumed would be my normal user account credentials which did not work. Did I miss a step and have to create a new database user before configuring amp?
I think a little more information would be awesome for newer devs such as myself!homotechsualhomotechsualhttps://lab.civicrm.org/documentation/docs/dev/-/issues/815Redirecting to the incorrect URL 2020-08-10T09:10:16ZhomotechsualRedirecting to the incorrect URL *Created by: asha15*

[This line](https://github.com/civicrm/civicrm-dev-docs/blame/master/docs/financial/financialentities.md#L92) (apols for the "blame" - seems to be the only way I can link to a particular line in a Markdown file) says that when an order is created the total $300 will result in:
>financial trxn record transferring the cost ($300) to accounts payable
I think this should be accounts *receivable* - since it's an amount that we are due to receive, not an amount that we are due to have to pay. Two lines down from that confirms my (rather poor) understanding of bookkeeping because it refers to "the accounts *receivable* transaction" (emphasis mine).

There is a reference to a table which once existed: `First find the GitHub repository for the guide (listed in the above table)` but no table. This makes it harder for a new contributor to find out which git repo to checkout. From a quick perusal of recent git history I couldn't see where the table went, so filing this instead.https://lab.civicrm.org/documentation/docs/dev/-/issues/787How to prepare your PR for the release notes author2020-06-29T15:09:54ZMichael McAndrewHow to prepare your PR for the release notes authorhttps://docs.civicrm.org/dev/en/latest/core/contributing/ and https://docs.civicrm.org/dev/en/latest/core/release-process/ don't cover how to prepare your PR for the release notes author

Tangential: are there other things that are necessary or worthwhile doing as part of this process?

Document process for abandoned Extensions, with either someone taking over the extension maintainer role or de-listing the extension.
This should also include a process for reporting an abandoned extension and the process to be followed for either de-listing or transferring maintainers.
The documentation on Extension Lifecycle is deficient, there is no recognition of an extension being "abandoned" as is this case with the ChrisChinchilla/CiviCRM-eWay-recurring-payment-processor, see https://github.com/ChrisChinchilla/CiviCRM-eWay-recurring-payment-processor/issues/59
Abandoned software is a common occurrence, as you will have no doubt seen in other open source communities such as Drupal and WordPress.
