Accepted Credit Cards checked on back end forms but not front end?
We have only been using CiviCRM for a few months and just had our first instance of accepting payment for an invoice over the phone (a Finance person wanted to settle the invoice created for a member of their organisation).
Using 'Submit Credit Card payment' on the back end resulted in a 'Please enter your card details' error popup when the form was submitted (they were included).
We were still receiving bookings and payments with others signing up via front end forms.
In reviewing the CiviContribute and Stripe Extension settings the only thing I had overlooked in setting up the system was to select Accepted Credit Cards Options as it worked on the front end without anything selected. I included Visa and Mastercard as Accepted Credit Cards Options as the error has gone.
Is there a reason why this was needed, should it have failed previously on the front end without Accepted Credit Cards Options set?
It might be a feature, but as an end user it was a curious experience hence raising as an issue.
