Thousand separators missinterpreted at financial transaction level?

I'm not sure if it's a bug or a misconfiguration. Just in case and to provide information from what I have seen.

A payment has been made via webform for an amount of 1000 €.

The contribution has been generated successfully.

Payment information has been saved with an amount of 1 € (at the civicrm_financial_trxn table)
