Add support for per-event ics enable/disable, customized location and description
It would be great to be able to enable or disable sending the ics for individual events. It would also be great to be able to specify the location specifically for the ics to allow for an URL for online events that isn't entered in the event location or any other simple location details (as @Upperholme requests here) and the event description as well (for example to include login instructions for an online event). To that end, I'm working on some additions that will do this.
My thought is to add a Send ics? checkbox and fields for location and description. The last two will default to the event location and description if empty.
I also looked at adding the organizer name (as the confirmation email from name in the event) as currently this is only the email, but that would actually need to be done in core. I may add this in core later. Are there other values in the ics that would be useful to be able to customize as well?
@bgm, you mention in the readme that this doesn't work for backend registrations. Is that because something didn't work when applying this to the offline template or because you didn't want it to send for backend registrations? I think it would be good to at least have the option to send these for all registrations.
