New action 'update membership status' doesn't work with recurring contribution

There's a new action recently added !245 (merged) but it seems to not be compatible with recurring contribution which was a part of this closed issue #207 (closed)

When we test on an up-to-date installation we get this messages

This action is not available with trigger Recurring Contribution is changed

Is it a core limitation or could it work?

To upload designs, you'll need to enable LFS and have an admin enable hashed storage. More information
