Explore technologies for aquiring user feedback about docs pages
I would like to have some way answering questions like this:
- Which docs pages are readers struggling with the most?
- For a given docs page (that I'm considering deleting) are people actually reading this page?
- What are people's thoughts and suggestions about our content, on a per-page basis?
I'm imagining a system (or set of systems) that does the following:
- adds
👍 and👎 links at the bottom of each page, allowing users to give quick feedback - allows users to submit suggestions for improving a specific page (which ideally would open a new ticket in the repo for that guide)
- tracks page visits
With the rise in popularity of static docs sites, I wonder if there is maybe a existing tool which would help us do these things. I think it'd be cool to research this a little. If there's something easy we can just plug in, it could be useful.
