Child groups not visible in multisite using HTTP request, while ajax refresh shows them

If you go to ?page=CiviCRM&q=civicrm/group&reset=1 using normal request, no groups are displayed.

The user has the right role assigned, which in turn has all rights applied: CiviCRM Multisite: view all contacts in domain, CiviCRM Multisite: edit all contacts in domain, CiviCRM Multisite: list all groups in domain

The groups show after (un)ticking any filters.

It only happen if the groups are children of current domain group. If the user creates a group without parent, it is shown.

To upload designs, you'll need to enable LFS and have an admin enable hashed storage. More information
