Do not notify assignees will email the assignee for case activities where the activity type has been excluded
Test case on a fresh install.
Under display preferences, I have selected to not be notified when assigned an activity of type "phone call".
When creating a new activity of type "phone call" on a case, the assignee IS notified of the activity via email. When adding a new activity of type "phone call" against a contact, the email is NOT sent.
Based on the configuration I have made, I am expecting an email NOT to be sent for case activities where the "do not notify" option has been selected for that activity type.
