However, if you display the results as contributions or as memberships then

you are taken to the email set up page. It is not until you click on Send Email on that page that you see the Error message telling you that you can't email more than 50 contacts this way and the process is stopped.
It would be a better user experience if the error message always appeared when **Email - send now (to 50 or less)** was selected.5.9https://lab.civicrm.org/dev/core/-/issues/14Creating a relationship fails for an organization contact which has NULL valu...2023-06-23T17:54:21ZEvanCreating a relationship fails for an organization contact which has NULL values in start/end/join fields of a membershipWhen creating a relationship between an Individual and an Organizational contact, the relationship fails to be created and throws the following error if the Organizational contact record has a membership with NULL values in the start/end...When creating a relationship between an Individual and an Organizational contact, the relationship fails to be created and throws the following error if the Organizational contact record has a membership with NULL values in the start/end/join fields, such as might happen if a payment failed and the membership was created in a "Pending" state:
`unknown relationship create error The membership cannot be saved because the status cannot be calculated for start_date: null end_date null join_date null as at 2018-03-09 16:43:22`
What's odd is that I wouldn't expect the relationships to be dependent on a membership object, but for some reason it is? I did some testing on a client's sandbox site and found that any membership with NULL start/end/join dates will cause a Relationship creation to fail. I found that deleting the membership with NULL dates fixes the issue i.e. allows the relationship to be created, as does simply adding dates to the membership in question.

It appears Smarty is taking the raw HTML (e.g. <p> in the message from the body_html column and escaping it (e.g. <p>), at least in the error output. I'm not sure why the tags don't just pass through. It appears the text editor has added a <p> tag at the start of the document. I'm not sure how to handle this in terms of how people might edit documents and have them successfully schedule. As it is the send_reminder process simply fails, and the only way to spot this is to check in the "scheduled jobs". Essentially any user could break send_reminder simply by adding a bit of HTML Smarty does like:

Each custom search is implemented by a class that extends CRM_Contact_Form_Search_Custom_Base and implements CRM_Contact_Form_Search_Interface. The columns displayed for search results are defined by either $this->_columns or the columns() method. The keys of this array should set the column headings, but they are being ignored.
When the search results are displayed, the specified headings are not used. Instead, some columns are given default headings and others are missing headings. This means that the results can't be sorted on those columns.
To reproduce this bug, click **Search ⇒ Custom Searches**, then pick a contact search, e.g. "Basic Search", "Include / Exclude Search" or "Postal Mailing", enter search criteria that will select some contacts, and then click Search. In the results you'll see that the column headings do not match the ones defined in the custom search class, and some columns (e.g. street address, phone number, contact type, etc) have no headings at all.jitendrajitendrahttps://lab.civicrm.org/dev/core/-/issues/65When creating a manual event registration, the notes section (source) has a c...2018-04-23T04:52:53Zfreeform.stephWhen creating a manual event registration, the notes section (source) has a character limit but doesn't check for oneAttempted to manually add a participant to an event using the "Add event registration" tab on their CiviCRM profile, but the screen wouldn't save, the page just stays frozen and fails to complete.

The only solution seems to be to force CRM_Extension_Mapper to fetch the extensions paths from the database, or prevent it from caching the full path. Currently with the CiviCRM Starterkit we are forcing it to fetch the list from the database each time (https://www.drupal.org/node/2347897).

What this feature does is it helps distributes recipients of a mailing group into 2 mailings A and B mailings. Now for the A mailing 'include group' has the mailing group attached to it, but for the B mailing no group is attached.
When the mailings gets sent out, if anyone receives email from B mailing, and if that user unsubscribes, the user ends up getting unsubscribed from all the groups (since no group exists in that particular mailing all groups are listed in unsubscribe confirm UI). This happens because 'where clause' consisting of mailing group id is not attached as group is not present.
Please can anyone let me know if i am missing something.

Best case scenario is the Smart Group just has that many fewer contacts in it and we go on with life. We had an issue on a client site where there were so many contacts and so many groups, that rebuilding the Smart Group cache was causing a fatal DB error whether it (Updating Smart Group counts) was done manually or via the scheduled job. Proposed approach is to prevent deletion of groups that are dependencies for other groups. Example workflow:
1. A user with permissions to delete groups chooses to delete a group by selecting the "Delete" option from the "More" link on the Manage Groups page located here: Navigation Menu > Contacts > Manage Groups (this is the only place a user can delete a group, I believe)
1. The system (CiviCRM) does a check in the background to determine if the group being deleted is used as a search parameter in any active/non-deleted Smart Groups
1. If the group being deleted is determined to be "in use" by a Smart Group(s), don't allow the group to be deleted. Instead…
1. Show a message in the "Confirm Group Delete" notification that the group cannot be deleted as it's being used by a Smart Group(s). List the name of the Smart Group(s), preferably with the name(s) linked to that/those group(s)
I am inquiring with our client if they are willing to put funds (and how much) into fixing this. I have confirmed on demo master that one can delete a group that is a dependency for another group, though there were no ill effects. My assumption / theory is there just aren't enough contacts or groups for the rebuilding of Smart Group counts to fail.https://lab.civicrm.org/dev/core/-/issues/3570When creating a CiviMail it is possible to select this mailing as a "previous...2023-06-26T19:32:24ZlolcodeWhen creating a CiviMail it is possible to select this mailing as a "previous mailing" in the recipients listWhen creating a CiviMail it is possible to select this mailing as a "previous mailing" in the recipients list. 1. On the Manage Groups page, the counts show initially as 'unknown'.
1. Clicking the 'Update Smart Group Counts' then updates one particular group to have a count of 113.
1. Clicking Contacts then takes to a list of contacts - 113 of them.
1. Clicking 'Edit Smart Group Search Criteria for ...' then shows 2 contacts - which is correct.
The smart group criteria are:
> Membership Type = Associate Member ...AND...
> Is a current member ...AND...
> Primary Members Only ...AND...
> Contacts with a Relationship Type of: 'Correspondent 1 of'
I am seeing similar differences between the reported numbers and the right results for other smart groups so it does not seem to be specific to those criteria. FWIW several of the other groups also report 113 members - wrongly.
If I create a mailing with the smart group it reports ~107 which would be about right if it really were 113 group members as a few are on hold. But it should just be 2!
If I go to basic Search and put the groupname in the group box, then it correctly returns 2 contacts.
* These results are as administrator, so it is not permission issues.
* PHP 7.1.16 (but seen when previously on 5.6)
* MySQL: Server version: 5.7.21-percona-sure2-log MySQL Community Server (GPL)
* `ONLY_FULL_GROUP_BY` is disabled
* Smart group cache timeout: 5
* Rebuild Smart Group Cache scheduled job: every 15 mins

Joomla 3.8.7
(Replicated on civicrm.demo.civihosting.com - CiviCRM 5.0.0 - Drupal)
Create a custom Payment Method (ie. Undetermined), with Financial Account = Accounts Receivable
On the administrative side, register contact for an event with Payment Method=Undetermined, Payment Status=Pending
Go to the Contribution tab, the contribution is Pending Pay Later
Do Record Payment, Payment Method=Check, Add Check #, Payment Status=Complete, (Full Amount Paid)
The Contribution will be marked with a Payment Status of Partially Paid
Admin can edit the contribution and mark it as Payment Status = Complete, but...
Expand the payment information, Record Payment links are still visible, but will throw an error if clicked
civicrm_contribution.payment_instrument_id = Undetermined (Although payment method was set to Check)
civicrm_financial_trxn.from_financial_account_id = Accounts Receivable
civicrm_financial_trxn.to_financial_account_id = Accounts Receivable
Contribution not listed in Bookkeeping Report
Also cannot find contribution by Check# in Contributions->Find Contributions (Not sure if related or separate issue)
