Settings - Localization - Language and Currency
A small issue that cropped up but may be of interest to the group, for those with international contacts. Under the Language and Currency Setting, I have selected Australia as the Default, and I have also selected Australia from the two option lists, which should ensure that these countries are the only ones available for state listings. However I have recently discovered that some of our contacts had in the State field Washington DC. when it should have shown Western Australia. This happened for three different contacts in Western Australia. It was discovered when I was doing a membership search in the Advanced Search to show all memberships in Western Australia. I could not figure out why this was not showing the full listing of members i knew we had in that state, as I had a list of members Reps to compare it to in WA who did have the correct address. Then when I went to the Org record where the membership address was listed, I saw that Washington was in the state field. However I do not seem to be able to replicate this! So I don't actually know how Washington could have occurred there. Especially given Australia is the only Country that appears in the drop down field for Country.
