Seems to be happening since the upgrade to CiviCRM 5.55 yesterday.

It would be useful to have the blog tags etc at the top of the blog post (as well as the bottom!) they provide helpful clarity and useful discovery pathways for other content!
It would be useful to encourage more engagement on blog posts - and to have more Questions and Answers created at civicrm.stackexchange.com - so commenters on blog posts at https://civicrm.org/blog should be encouraged to also post a blog post comment in the form of a Question on Stack Exchange, with a link back to the blog post that the Question refers to.

Regular Membership and Partners are linked to the same org, so the membership is considered an "upsell", i.e. it updates the existing membership.
cc @josh fyi I don't know how many have been affected. Should be possible to detect in the civicrm_membership_log table.
The following pages can be removed and their content can be consolidated into other pages:
This is copied from a discussion in Mattermost and relates to the process of users signing up to mailing lists on CiviCRM.org (in this case it was specifically about the security announcements mailing list).
There are three areas that could be improved:
The confirmation email that I received has a link but it isn't clickable. I had to manually copy and paste it to confirm the changes.
When I get to the confirmation page it doesn't mention security announcements just the three other mailing lists.
Need to spend some time organizing the data in c.o. as well as adopt better mgmt practices consistent with GDPR.
From a data quality mgmt and privacy standpoint:
Need to review content on https://civicrm.org/bug-reporting and ensure that it's in the right place for users and that it's consistent with current processes and similar documentation (in docs & on wiki).
The gist of what Drupal did was simplify and provide each new user with an email with one line sections including links for next steps of several types. We can do the same.
@JoeMurray referenced changes to drupal's own welcome email https://chat.civicrm.org/civicrm/pl/n5piywgubpdbjxi9fwt5zg8ojc and suggested a revision to ours. Currently, users register and are manually approved (in order to help combat spam). The pre-approval email reads:
Thank you for creating an account on civicrm.org. Your request is currently pending approval. It should take 24-48h. Once it has been approved, you will receive another e-mail containing information about how to log in and set your password.
Please note that an account on civicrm.org can be useful for access to CiviCRM's Gitlab, for ESR subscribers and for CiviCRM Spark users who may need to update their billing information. An account on civicrm.org does not manage your own account on your instance of CiviCRM; for that you will need to contact your CiviCRM administrator.
To get started with your own instance of CiviCRM, explore CiviCRM Spark at https://civicrm.com - and to talk with an expert, have a look at our listing here: https://civicrm.org/civicrm/experts
If you have any questions, you can also contact us on the CiviCRM chat: https://chat.civicrm.org/
The 2nd email received, upon approval, reads:
Hello,
Your account at civicrm.org has been activated.
You may now login by clicking on this one-time link or copying and pasting it in your browser:
https://civicrm.org/user/reset/####/random-set-of-characters
After logging in, you will be redirected to https://civicrm.org/user/####/edit so you can set your password.
Once you have set your own password, you will be able to log in using your username: (username)
Your login also works on CiviCRM's Gitlab (https://lab.civicrm.org), using the same password. Please make sure that your username does not have any spaces in it. The username is case-sensitive.

The objective of this issue is to overhaul the primary navigation and content on civicrm.org to better align it with our audience and our operational objectives (ecosystem growth and community engagement). The result of this will be 1) a revised structure and 2) revised content on CiviCRM.org. This is not a small task.
The objective here is to produce a minimal, compelling experience in English, with which we will recruit volunteers to translate into other languages. It is expected that we will add additional content and functionality to the site, however this first effort is to establish an MVP for civicrm.org
With the community survey launch - I have been thinking more about how CiviCRM is perceived. As I recently went through some website audits - I started to do an impromptu one for CiviCRM org -
I was wondering if there has been a website audit of CiviCRM.org? Especially in its current iteration which seems to have launched in 2017. There is just so much content, so many links, so many menus, so many options, so many audiences, it is all overwhelming. Can we easily define what the editorial mission of the website is?
I am not sure how to address this - not sure I am the right person to start this dialogue - but thought this thread would be a good start.
Update this content - https://wiki.civicrm.org/confluence/display/CRM/Meetup+toolkit and move to a page on civicrm.org
Update this link - https://civicrm.org/meetup-toolkit - to point to the new page.
/partners-contributors in the Drupal 7 used a Smart Group as filter, along with Fuzion's Smart Group module - to list both paying CiviCRM members and volunteer contributors. Since the migration to D8, this has changed to list just paid members.
